Good Morning My Sweet Tiddlywinks!
It’s Wednesday, get those hands up! It’s Wednesday shake your booty! It’s Wednesday…Oh yeah!
Uuuuhhhh ooooohhhh...you know what’s coming?
Some dancing, that’s what!
Hit it B!
Woop! That was fun! Now, you try! …
I don’t know about you, but my days end up being so much cooler when they begin with busting-a-move, which is why I’m doing it more on the reg. Although the time is nearing when I will need to bring in some choreographer reinforcements. I am well aware of the fact that my whole ‘arm waving and booty shaking bit’ is starting to stale. <Sigh>. Listen, I can dance, but I cannot choreograph worth a penny. And that’s wussup.
Okay, now that we’ve shaken our buns, released some endorphins and given our serotonin levels a bump we can dig into the today’s delicious recipe!
Without further ado, I present you with…
Oatless Oatmeal, Re-loaded: Daily Dubie Style
And you know what that means, right? …
It’s means that I had to pull out some Chocolate and Peanut Butter guns to add some creamy, buttery and sweet flava-flave to the otherwise ordinary concoction.
Here’s how to *gangster-fy your oatless oatmeal:
2 Egg Whites
1 T Ground Flaxseed
1 T Chocolate Pea Protein Powder (Pure Matters) OR Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/4 Cup Almond Milk (OMilk if you can!) DIVIDED (use 1/4 cup beforehand, and 1/4 after it’s made to add on top)
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Cinnamon (more if you it extra spicy!)
1/2 small Banana
1.5 T Organic Crunchy PB
1 T Raw Cacao Nibs
6-7 Whole Cacao Beans
1/4 Cup Almond Milk
Other half of banana sliced on top
1). Blend all ingredients together (except for toppings).
2). Pour mixture into sauce pan – turn stove on med-high heat. Stir constantly with spatula for about 3 minutes, or until mixture is fluffy.
3). Pour into bowl, add toppings & voíla!
It’s also extra-awesome because it’s FILLED with flat-belly friendly nourishment and antioxidants like…
Raw Cacao = Anti-oxidant
Flaxseed = Excellent source of Omega-3s
Egg Whites = Protein
Peanut Butter = Great source of monounsaturated fat, protein
Almond Milk – Great source of Vitamin E, Potassium, Magnesium
Banana = Potassium
Cinnamon = High in manganese, fiber, iron, calcium, is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, helps prevent cancer and regulates blood sugar.
MMmMmmmmM…now THAT does the body good, folks.
Alright Brothas and Sistas…I’m out for the day!
Wishing you all Happy, Healthy Days & Eves SPRINKLED with Chocolate & Peanut Butter Sauce.
