Good Morning, Afternoon, & Evening My Beautiful, Beloved Daily Dubie Readers from around the GLOBE! 

I am totally that person right now, celebrating the life, music, and VOICE of Miss Whitney Houston! As I speak, I'm on track 3 of 33 ("Greatest Love of All") on the Greatest Hits album that I, along with MILLIONS of others, just purchased on iTunes, two days after her unexpected and early passing.  

As much as I'm saddened by her passing, I'm not going to launch into a weepy and emotional saga on the matter. Instead, I choose to CELEBRATE the incredible talent she was...by dancing my socks off to her MAJOR HITS! (What else is new?!) Namely, I Wanna Know, Dance With Somebody, Run To You, I Have Nothing, I Will Always Love You, & So Emotional...Yeeeeeeeeah, that's what I'm talkin' about, People! I think this week's VLOGS will have to feature some SERIOUS Whitney tracks, what do y'all think about that?!? I think yes heart.

Moving right along, I'd like to further elaborate on my recent chatter-on-the-matter of heartLove-sweet-Love. heart Today I give you the gift of 

* GRATITUDE *

Definition of GRATITUDE: the state of being grateful : thankfulness


Having Gratitude always comes first and foremost in my book, because I believe it paves the way for a path that’s forever filled with health & happiness! Without getting too talky and philosophical, I'm going to break down my pal GRATITUDE for ya as follows:

  • Recognize that being grateful is not just a state of being, but also an act of living. It is hugely important to DEMONSTRATE just how much you appreciate yourself, and the loved ones in your life. Treat them with kindness! Tell them how much you love them, care for them, and appreciate having them in your life! 
  • Be Present: How you act in the PRESENT moment is what matters most, and is what will follow you throughout life.The act of being truly thankful for all that you HAVE in your life is a priceless commodity, and will keep you fueled with positive energy! Gratitude allows you to relish in the now. When you only ever think/worry about the past or the future, you are doing yourself and your life a disservice, by robbing it of what's good right now?!
  • Be Unconditionally Thankful: Genuine gratitude shouldn't be dependent on the actions (or lack thereof) of others. If you feel grateful, there should be no reason not express it! Who doesn't like to hear "I love you, I am so happy to have you in my life?!?" You can't OVERDO gratitude! The more, the merrier for EVERYONE!
  • Contagious: Gratitude isn't super easy for people to give or have. Feelings of anger, frustration, jealousy, or sadness often overcome our ability to practice gratitude. If you find this to be true, I encourage you to start small. Say thank you more often. With time, and practice, you'll begin to feel much more comfortable demonstrating your thankfulness. If, however, you are an over-abundance of love, hugs, and kisses, I encourage you to continue to give give give! Spread the love, baby! I find gratitude to be contagious. When somebody tells you how appreciative they are of you, it fills you up with with love, and you are therefore, more inclined to give love to others in your life who are deserving. 

With that said, I'd like to extend great GRATITUDE to each and every one of YOU! Ya'll are the icing on my cake! You make the Daily Dubie World go-round, and continue to inspire me every bloody day!
