I can’t complain…and yet, I want to for no apparent reason.

I call it the February curse.
February is generally a sucky month – it’s cold, the two “holidays” we have to look forward to – Super Bowl, and Valentine’s Day – are among THE FUCKING WORST, and my skin is so pale, I swear you can see my internal organs. Imagine that. Sexy.
Tell me I’m not alone.
After New Years, I was amped to be back, feeling inspired and super motivated to get after 2016…and now…well, you can say that high has (temporarily) waned…
Wah wah wah…
And the worst part is…I have absolutely ZERO reasons to complain. I am wallowing in imaginary sorrows. I am telling YOU this, because
A). I keep it real
B). In hopes of getting myself OUT of this bullshitty cloud of bluesiness.
…So let’s get some POSITIVE VIBES flowing…
I got my haircut. Weeeeeeee! It’s short. It’s blunt and it doesn’t give a fuck.
I love it.
I made a LEGIT breakfast of Chocolate Hemp Oatmeal this morning.
And YOU can too…
1/2 Cup Gluten-free Organic Oats
1 T Hemp Seeds
1 T Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (get as close to homemade as possible).
Dash of Cinnamon
Dash of Sea Salt
1 tsp Coconut Cugar
1 T Raw Almond Butter
Berries + Raw Cacao Nibs to top
Bring almond milk + salt + cinnamon to a boil. Add Dried oats and hemp seeds. Bring to simmer, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Then, add coconut sugar and almond butter, stir well. Transfer to pretty bowl. Add more almond milk if you want. Top with cacao nibs and berries.
Oh baby…my pillow game is winning this week.
